The use of technologies, along with their special advantages, has often not been associated with positive feelings for teachers. Among the most important negative consequences of using technology in teachers is technostress. The objective of this research was to predict the amount of technostress based on its creators among teachers in Shabankare city in the academic year of 1402-1403. The present study was a quantitative and applied research that used a survey strategy. Using the proportional stratified random sampling method, a sample of 132 teachers was selected as the research sample. Field data were collected using questionnaires that measured the level of technostress, as defined by Salanova (2007), and the level of technostress creators, as defined by Tarafdar (2007). The results showed that the level of technostress, technostress creators, technological complexity, technological invasion, and technological insecurity is higher than average, while technological overload is equal to average, and technological uncertainty is lower than average. In addition, the variables of technological insecurity, technological complexity, and technological invasion were among the technostress creators. Based on the resulting predictive model, the variables of technological complexity, technological insecurity, and technological invasion were the strongest predictors of technostress, respectively. The results of this study can, by raising the awareness of education organization managers, pave the way for predicting and adopting preventive strategies to deal with the causes of technostress, as well as improving the balanced use of technology in teachers' daily activities.
